WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES TO CHIP SEAL?

Advantages:
Unique, customizable to color and texture, inexpensive, easy to install, does not require regular maintenance and just as stable and smooth to drive on as asphalt or concrete.
Disadvantages:
Longevity-needs to be resurfaced every 10-15 years, can be damaged easier by certain vehicles and hard to find contractors who install chip seal driveways.
